Great location, mixed experience
The friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. Manuel stood out, swiftly helping with requests and ensuring we felt at home. You can’t beat the location, just steps from La Rambla!
However, the rooms were disappointingly basic and lacked essentials like a fridge and kettle. We experienced water pressure issues, and noise from the street might disturb light sleepers.

I stayed at May Ramblas for two nights in a Superior Double Room. The location can't be beaten. It's just off La Rambla, making it super convenient for exploring the area. There's a metro station right outside, which makes getting around the city a breeze. I had some great moments trying out local restaurants and finding shops to wander into. However, the room had significant cleanliness issues. I noticed dirty walls and a bathroom with grime in the corners. The air conditioning didn’t work well, and it got pretty uncomfortable, especially at night. It really affected my sleep. I also experienced noise disruptions. the walls allowed too much sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms. I raised my concerns at the front desk, but the staff didn’t seem very responsive to fixing these problems. There was a feeling of neglect toward our comfort. I left wishing for better maintenance and more attentive service during my stay.
